Booking is now open for the Italian Teachers Day supported by ISMLA.
On Saturday 7th March 2026 the 6th Italian Teachers Day, once again kindly hosted by Francis Holland School in London and with the invaluable support of ISMLA and others.
Above all this is a wonderful opportunity for teachers of Italian in schools to meet each other and discuss matters of mutual interest. We have organised a talk followed by discussion in break-out groups on that most topical of matters, AI. We have invited an old friend of these days, Dr Cecilia Brioni who will talk to us about Music and Migration, but the rest of the time will be dedicated to teacher-led group discussions on topics raised by fellow teachers:
- Teaching IB and resources:
- Approaches to teaching speaking
- Teaching literature/film – practical approaches
- Organising school trips and exchanges
- Resources for KS5
Please complete this Google Form to let us know if you will be joining us or not. If coming, you will be asked for your preferences as to which group sessions you wish to attend. When we have a clear indication, we will send out the final programme. We very much look forward to welcoming you. Registration will open at 9.30am and we should end by no later than 4.00pm.
